Melbourne Cement Facility is a global leader in the storage and despatch of cementitious products.
Current Consulting designed, developed and commissioned all aspects of the electrical systems on the site, including:
- an 11kV supply system to provide power to self discharging ships
- MV & LV power distribution and reticulation throughout the site
- the design of Motor Control Centres, field panels and instrumentation system.
- an integrated control system for the automation of bulk ship unloading, transfer to storage and despatch from storage to road tanker.
The success of the system implemented by Current Consuting has lead to the company’s engagement to implement a similar system in New Zealand. |
