The upgrade of the existing cement manufacturing plant was completed over two stages:
- The first stage required increasing the clinker grinding capacity by installing a Humboldt-Wedag roller press.
- The second stage involved replacement of the existing clinker cooler, adding a second string and pre-calciner to the existing pre-heater tower, and an upgrade of the existing raw mill circuit through the addition of a hammer mill.
Current Consulting was responsible for the complete electrical design, including High Voltage distribution, motor control, instrumentation and control systems.
Current Consulting was also responsible for all PLC software required for the project. |
